Uttarkashi Tunnel Accident Robot Will Go Inside Rescue Operation Going On

Uttarakhand Tunnel Accident: Today is the ninth day for 41 laborers trapped inside the tunnel in Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand. This accident happened around 5 am on November 12. Since then, rescue operation is going on to save the workers, although till now not a single worker has been saved. The government is working on a five-option plan to rescue the stranded workers. Along with this, help of robot will also be taken.

Road, Transport and Highways Secretary Anurag Jain said on Sunday that the central government is committed to the safe evacuation of 41 workers trapped in the Silkyara Tunnel in Uttarkashi since November 12 and is working on a five-option action plan for this. The rescue operation continued on the eighth day. He said that the government is committed to the safe evacuation of all the workers and the Center is sending multivitamins, anti-depressants and dry fruits to the workers.

Five different agencies are working

He said, “Five options have been decided and five different agencies have been decided to fulfill these options. Five agencies namely Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam (SJVNL), Rail Vikas Corporation Limited (RVNL), National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) and Tehri Hydro Development Corporation Limited (THDCL) have been entrusted with the responsibilities.”

State Disaster Management Secretary Ranjit Kumar Sinha said, “Preparations are underway to restart the agar machine for drilling the tunnel and laying pipes in it. Apart from the pipe that is delivering food to the stranded people, another larger diameter pipe has been inserted 42 meters deep into the debris so that essential items can be delivered to them.

Consider taking help from robots

Sinha said that the Union Minister has suggested that the help of robot can be taken to examine the space between the debris surface and the roof of the tunnel so that it can be known whether any pipe can be inserted from here for life safety. Is. He said, “The government is committed to ensure the safe evacuation of all the workers. We are sending multivitamins, anti-depressants and dry fruits to the workers trapped inside the under-construction tunnel in Silkyara, Uttarkashi.”

The tunnel is being constructed under the National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL). About 30 meters of the under-construction tunnel, 270 meters inside the mouth from the Silkyara side, had collapsed at around 5.30 am last Sunday and since then the workers are trapped inside it.
