India vs Australia Final: There are wins and losses in any game. Sometimes a team loses despite winning continuously, and sometimes a team standing on the verge of defeat wins. When Prime Minister Narendra Modi met the players of the Indian cricket team in the dressing room on Sunday evening, he shared these things with them and encouraged them.
Actually, the final match of the World Cup was played between India and Australia on Sunday (19 November) at Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad. Chasing India’s target of 241 runs, Australia won by scoring 241 runs for four wickets in 43 overs. This defeat broke the hearts of Indian fans, because India had reached the finals without losing a single match. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah themselves had reached the stadium to watch the final.
When Modi reached the dressing room
As soon as Australia completed the run chase, their players reached the pitch running. On the other side, there were the dejected Indian players, whose shoulders were bowed due to the defeat. Captain Rohit Sharma himself had tears in his eyes. Similar was the condition of the rest of the players of Team India. However, when the team reached the dressing room, PM Modi reached there to meet the dejected players of the Indian team. He met the entire team and encouraged it.
Virat-Rohit held hands, hugged Shami
A video of PM Modi meeting Team India players in the dressing room has surfaced. It can be seen that PM Modi is meeting all the players of the team. He first meets Rohit and Virat Kohli. He can be heard saying to Rohit, ‘You guys have come here after winning 10 matches. This (loss in matches) keeps happening. Smile brother, the country is watching you guys. He is also patting the shoulders of Rohit and Virat.

PM Modi says, ‘I thought I should meet you people.’ He also meets Team India’s head coach Rahul Dravid and says, ‘You guys have worked very hard.’ After this he meets Ravindra Jadeja. PM Modi meets Mohammed Shami and hugs him and says, ‘You have done very well this time.’ Prime Minister Modi meets all the players of the Indian team one by one and encourages them.
