Muzaffarpur: The body of a Class 10 student, who had left home to go to her grandmother’s house on the day of Chhath, was recovered on Monday (20 November). She went missing after leaving the house. The body of the student was found near the pond late on Monday evening. There is suspicion of murder after gangrape. This is the case of Panapur Kariyat OP of Kanti police station area. Police has started investigation. The age of the student is said to be around 16 years.
Crowd of people gathered after the dead body was found
According to the information, the student had left by auto to go to her grandmother’s house on the day of Chhath, but did not return from there. There is a pond behind the building of a private school from where his body was found. After getting the information, a crowd of villagers gathered. Objectionable items like gutkha and condom have been found near the dead body of the student. It is strongly suspected that she has been raped.
There was an outcry after the dead body was found
The student’s father said that when he returned from work, he came to know that his daughter had not reached her grandmother’s house. After this he did a lot of searching but his daughter was not found anywhere. Now the dead body has been found near the pond. There was an outcry among the family members after the incident.
Police investigating at all points
Police reached the spot after receiving information about the dead body. The body was sent to the medical college for post-mortem. In this matter, Kanti Panapur Kariyat OP in-charge Sunil Kumar Singh said that the police is busy investigating the entire matter. It is suspected that she was raped and murdered. Many suspicious objects have been recovered from the spot. Police is investigating at all points.
