Sehore News: After the Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, the Mining Department has taken major action against the sand mafia. In fact, the sand mafia doing illegal sand business is no longer desisting even from hooliganism. This sand mafia is engaged in silencing the Narmada river by threatening the villagers. On a similar complaint received from the villagers, the Mining Department, while taking action in Dimawar village of Budhni assembly constituency of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, has seized two JCBs and a Poklane machine.
Sand was being extracted illegally from Narmada river in village Dimawar of Budhni assembly. According to the information received, illegal sand business was being done here by sand mafia Pradeep Yadav. According to the villagers, Pradeep Yadav is openly doing illegal business of sand by setting up tents here. The villagers are also threatened when they protest. Villagers were complaining about Pradeep Yadav for a long time. On the complaint of the villagers, on the instructions of Collector Praveen Singh, 8 days ago, the Mining Department had taken action and given advice to Pradeep Yadav. Despite this, this advice of the Mining Department proved ineffective on Pradeep Yadav and he continued the illegal business of sand."text-align: justify;">Second action in 8 days
Pradeep Yadav was not only causing damage to the Narmada River but also causing loss of revenue to the government. The villagers of Dimavar village again complained about this to the district administration. The Mining Department of the District Administration has reached Dimawar village and taken action against illegal sand trade. The special thing is that this action has happened for the second time in 8 days.
Action taken after the complaint of villagers
Inspector Santosh Suryavanshi of Mining Department while giving information said that sand was being extracted illegally by Pradeep Yadav in Dimawar village. Sand was being extracted by Pradeep Yadav from an area of about 5 acres. Pradeep Yadav had pitched a tent near the Narmada river. A complaint was received from the villagers that they were being threatened to stop doing so. He told that action has been taken in this matter after the complaint of the villagers, during the action one Poklane, two JCBs along with a roader have been seized from the spot. Pradeep Yadav was given a warning eight days ago, now action has been taken again.
