More than 6,000 security personnel will be deployed in Ahmedabad

Over 6,000 security personnel are ready for action in Ahmedabad, to protect the bustling Narendra Modi Stadium during the thrilling World Cup final clash between powerhouse India and mighty Australia on November 19. Ahmedabad Police CommissionerGS Malik revealed that stalwarts like PM Narendra Modi and Australian Deputy PM Richard Marles will be present at the grand finale in Motera. They are all set to join the great cricket competition.

Malik, at a press conference, highlighted the meticulous security arrangements by Gujarat Police, Rapid Action Force (RAF) and Home Guards. This elaborate arrangement caters to the huge influx of over one lakh enthusiastic spectators and the dignified presence of dignitaries gracing the stadium. Their focus will be to ensure a smooth match while protecting everyone involved in this cricket spectacle.

“To ensure that the mega event is conducted without any hassles, more than 6,000 police personnel will be deployed. Of these 6,000 personnel, about 3,000 will be deployed inside the stadium, while others will be deployed at other key locations, such as Will be deployed to provide security to the hotel where the players and other dignitaries are staying,” Malik was quoted as saying by NDTV.
