Patna: On Monday (20th Monday), on the day of morning Arghya on the occasion of Chhath Puja, a crazy youth opened fire on a family returning from the ghat in Lakhisarai. In this, six people of the same family were shot. Two brothers were killed while four members of the family were injured. The police have made a big revelation in this matter. Police say that the incident that took place on Monday in Kabaiya police station area of Lakhisarai is completely a matter of love affair. Ashish Chaudhary, the youth accused of firing, had married Durga Kumari only five years ago. During this time, Ashish Chaudhary came to know that his wife was having an affair with another person due to which there was a dispute between the husband and wife. Due to this the matter reached here.

After the controversies, Durga Kumari had refused to live with Ashish. Although Ashish Chaudhary wanted to keep her with him. There were talks with Durga’s parents about keeping Durga with them but the girl’s parents did not agree. It was in this anger that Ashish Chaudhary committed this incident.

Four associates of Ashish Chaudhary are being detained and interrogated. The weapon used in the incident has also been recovered. The police team is conducting raids to arrest Ashish.
