Team India’s dominance in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 finally ended as they were defeated by Australia in the final of the tournament at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday, November 19. After being invited to bat first, the Rohit Sharma-led side failed to overcome the slow pace of the wicket and could only score a total of 240 runs in the stipulated 50 overs. In reply, Australia easily chased down the target in 43 overs and won the match by six wickets to clinch their sixth World Cup title.
