There is a war going on between Israel and Hamas. India’s old stand has been to stand with Palestine, India has believed that injustice was done to Palestine. In such a situation, the present government of India has compromised with that stand. The biggest thing is that if the representative of Gandhi’s country is voting in the UN, then he should not vote in favor of ceasefire.
If there is a war anywhere in the world, it is a principle of humanity that every sensible and peace-loving person talks about stopping the war. But it is regrettable that the representative of Gandhi’s country boycotted it when ceasefire was being discussed in the UN. The present government has compromised with the reason for which India is known all over the world.
Sometimes Israel is formally supported, the PM tweets in support. After that the government says one thing, the Foreign Minister says something else. If the stand of such an old country, which has the biggest democracy in the world, changes every 2 hours, then it tarnishes the image of the country. The government does it but the name of the country gets bad or the country gets a good name if the government does good work.
Modi government changed the old stand
One condemnable thing the Narendra Modi government did was that it did not keep its stand consistent. Even inside Israel, people talk about religion, they also demonstrated and took out processions. Perhaps there is no country left in the world where demonstrations have not taken place, there have been demonstrations in 42-45 Muslim countries, along with this, whether it is Australia or New Zealand, there is no country left where demonstrations have not taken place.
Attacking the hospital, housing society and the dead bodies of children were seen by Israel, this is a very condemnable act against Israel. In a way, it seemed that in some way or the other, the Indian government and the Prime Minister of India were in their favor. Therefore, somewhere in this entire matter India’s image has been affected.
The kind of stand India took in the fight between Israel and Hamas is not right at all. But there is still time that India should express its views with a strong stand and make every possible effort for a ceasefire.
This is not just a matter of religion
This is not just a matter of religion between Israel and Hamas. We also consider the Jewish prophets as prophets. All three of us are descendants of Hazrat Ibrahim Alaihissalam. Whomever you might be thinking of for sacrifice, then it starts with his name and this series started with his name only. All are his children. First of all, Moses was the prophet of Jews and we also consider him as a prophet as Muslims.
After 700-800 years, Jesus Christ came and after 700-800 years, Hazrat Mohammad Salla wa Sallam, who became the prophet of Islam. All this is a religion that originated from there. Among ourselves we call each other prophets, whether they are prophets of Jews or prophets of Christians or prophets of Islam.
Naturally, every country should take initiative to ensure harmony among themselves and peace throughout the world. But, a peace-loving country like India, which is known because of the policies of Mahatma Gandhi, whenever our Prime Minister goes anywhere, whether inside or outside the country, he garlands the statue of Gandhiji, but, not only salute but also you What are you doing practically, what initiatives have you and your government taken to stop violence, in this we feel that this government has tarnished the image of India.
