But Rohit could not win the World Cup title for India under his captaincy. Team India lost against Australia in Ahmedabad. Fans on social media believe that Rohit should have changed the decisions for the final.

Actually, Team India scored 240 runs while batting first. The Indian team was all out. In response to this, Team India got off to a good start in bowling. India got its first wicket on the first ball of the second over. After this the second wicket was taken on the third ball of the fifth over. The third wicket was taken on the last ball of the 7th over. In this way Australia lost 3 wickets at the score of 47 runs. Fast bowlers gave these three wickets to India.

Rohit changed the bowling after 10 overs and gave the responsibility to the spinners. Kuldeep Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja came into the bowling attack. During this time Travis Head and Marnus Labuschagne were batting. The head spinners were playing very well. Australia scored 87 runs in 16 overs. The Australian team was under pressure due to the fall of wickets. But because of the spinners the pressure reduced. Here Rohit needed a change.

Team India came to bat first after losing the toss. Opener Shubman Gill was out after scoring just 4 runs. After this Rohit and Virat Kohli added some runs. Rohit was out after scoring 47 runs in 31 balls. He hit 4 fours and 3 sixes. After this the wicket of Shreyas Iyer fell. He was out after scoring 4 runs. Kohli played an inning of 54 runs. Ravindra Jadeja was out after scoring 9 runs and Suryakumar Yadav was out after scoring 18 runs. KL Rahul scored 66 runs in 107 balls. In this way the entire team got scattered. India had to face defeat in the final by 6 wickets.
