Meerut Crime News: A sensational incident spread panic in the area on Sunday in Meerut district of Uttar Pradesh. Due to family dispute in Parikshitgarh police station area, a man strangled his wife to death. After this he himself committed suicide. Local people informed the police about the incident. After which the police reached the spot, took possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem.
According to the police, on Sunday, Parikshitgarh police station had received information from the local people regarding the finding of dead bodies of a woman and a man. On immediate information, police reached the spot, recovered the bodies and started investigation. The deceased have been identified as 24-year-old Suraj and 22-year-old Mavi. Both were husband and wife in the relationship. At present there is a sensation in the area due to the incident.
Husband commits suicide after murdering wife
Additional Superintendent of Police Kamlesh Bahadur said in connection with the incident that we received a call that two people have died. After reaching the spot, we saw that a woman was lying dead on the ground near the bike, while a man was found dead hanging from a tree nearby. He says that at present the dead have been identified. Both the bodies have been taken into custody and sent for post-mortem.
Police investigating the case
Police said that from the initial investigation it appears that the man, after first strangulating his wife, committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree. In this case, the forensic team has collected evidence from the spot and the bodies have been sent for postmortem. Police say that further investigation is being done in the matter.
