Halal Certified Products Ban in UP: An FIR was registered in Hazratganj police station of Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, regarding selling Halal certified food products using fake documents. After which, at present, Halal Ceritfied food products have been banned in Uttar Pradesh with immediate effect. Taking strict action against Halal certified food products, CM Yogi Adityanath government has banned them.
At present, a response has come from Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind Halal Trust regarding this. In which it has been told by Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind Halal Trust that the demand for Halal certified products is very high in the world. In such a situation, it is mandatory for Indian companies to obtain such certification. Additionally, the certification process undertaken by them is in line with the requirements of manufacturers for both export purposes and domestic distribution in India.
Get certified by following government rules
According to Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind Halal Trust, they follow all the government rules issued in the notification of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry before certifying any product as Halal. Halal Trust also says that all Halal certification bodies are required to be registered by NABCB (National Accreditation Board for Certification Bodies under the Quality Council of India).
India will benefit from Halal products
Halal Trust says that Halal trade is an important industry worth 3.5 trillion dollars, due to which India benefits from its promotion in exports and tourism. Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind Halal Trust has rejected all the allegations against it and said that necessary legal steps will be taken. The Trust says that it is important to remove misconceptions related to Halal certification.
Customer free to use the products
The Trust says that Halal certification is a matter of choice for customers and manufacturers who prefer certain certifications for their satisfaction based on the certificates obtained by certification authorities. Which saves a large number of consumers from using products that they do not want for many reasons. Those who do not wish to use such products are free not to use them. According to the Trust, Halal certification is an important economic activity benefiting our country.
