Delhi AQI Today AQI In Delhi Falls To Poor Category Delhi NCR Pollution

Delhi Air Pollution: The air quality of the country’s capital Delhi improved slightly on Sunday. According to the data of System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting and Research (SAFAR), AQI reached ‘poor’ level at 297. However, according to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), Anand Vihar station in the national capital recorded PM 2.5 level at 305 and PM 10 at 261 in the ‘very poor’ category.

An AQI between zero and 50 is considered ‘good’, 51 and 100 ‘satisfactory’, 101 and 200 ‘moderate’, 201 and 300 ‘poor’, 301 and 400 ‘very poor’ and 401 and 500 ‘severe’. The PM 2.5 level at Bawana station reached 339, which falls in the ‘very poor’ category. Whereas, PM 10 was recorded in ‘poor’ category at 238, while CO reached 103 (moderate).

Fiza reached bad category in Dwarka
In Dwarka Sector-8, PM 2.5 levels reached 379, which is in the ‘poor’ category, while PM 10 levels have seen an increase. The level of PM 10 is at 491 which falls in the serious category. Whereas, carbon monoxide (CO) is at 121. The air quality in the Terminal 3 area of ​​Indira Gandhi International Airport was in the ‘poor’ category. The level of PM 2.5 was recorded at 300 and PM10 at 185 in the ‘moderate’ category.

Air in Okhla Phase-2 reaches very poor category
The PM 2.5 level in Okhla Phase-2 was recorded at 336, which is in the ‘very poor’ category, while the PM 10 level reached 260, which puts it in the ‘poor’ category. NO2 fell to 143 and CO was at 122, both at moderate levels.

Let us tell you that AQI between zero to 50 is considered good, 51 to 100 is considered satisfactory, 101 to 200 is moderate, 201 to 300 is considered bad, 301 to 400 is considered very bad and 401 to 450 is considered severe. When AQI exceeds 450, it is considered in the very serious category.
