Noida Traffic News: In view of Chhath Puja, traffic diversion will be done from Mahamaya flyover in Noida on Kalindi Kunj road and Haranandi bridge Kulesara going towards Delhi via Sarita Vihar from 3 pm on Sunday. This information was given by a police officer.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Anil Kumar Yadav said that heavy vehicles coming from Greater Noida will be diverted from Charkha roundabout, these vehicles will be able to go towards Delhi via DND and Chilla.
He said that if necessary, such a system will be implemented for light vehicles also.
He said that heavy vehicles coming from Mahamaya flyover can be diverted from Gaushala roundabout towards Charkha roundabout. He said that apart from this, heavy vehicles going towards Phase-II from Surajpur on Harnandi Kulesara will be diverted from the unpaved road Tiraha towards Kisan Chowk.
Gurugram: 54 places earmarked for Chhath Puja, security arrangements tight
Gurugram district administration has identified 54 places for Chhath Puja and more than 600 policemen will be deployed at these places till Monday for the safety of the people. The officers provided this information.
According to the police, Chhath Puja will be organized at 54 places, of which nine places fall under Eastern Police Zone, 26 places under Western Zone, eight places under Southern Zone and 11 places under Manesar Zone.
Officials said that adequate security personnel have been deployed at places of worship. Gurugram Police Commissioner Vikas Kumar Arora said that law and order will not be allowed to be disturbed in any way during Chhath Puja.
Gurugram Police spokesperson Subhash Boken said that policemen in plain clothes have been deployed. “The traffic police will ensure smooth movement of vehicles,” he said. Plans have been made to ensure that vehicular movement is not disrupted during working hours.
