Mallikarjun Kharge on Rahul Gandhi: Party’s national president Mallikarjun Kharge accidentally said something on the election rally stage regarding Congress leader Rahul Gandhi that BJP took a dig at his statement.
Kharge was addressing a public meeting in Anupgarh on Monday (November 20) in view of the Rajasthan Assembly elections. During this he said that leaders like Rahul Gandhi sacrificed their lives for the country. However, he called it a mistake and said that Rahul’s name came out of his mouth by mistake instead of Rajiv Gandhi.

During his speech, Mallikarjun Kharge, while describing the contribution of Congress leaders towards the country, had said, “…the Congress Party is engaged in the service of the country. In our party, a great leader like Indira sacrificed her life, leaders like Rahul Gandhi gave their lives for the unity of this country…”
As soon as these words came out of Mallikarjun Kharge’s mouth, the people present on the stage alerted the Congress President. On this Kharge said that he meant Rajiv Gandhi. He apologized for this.
Congress President attacks BJP while apologizing for the mistake
Mallikarjun Kharge said, “I am sorry…” At the same time he made a sharp attack on BJP and said, “Rajiv Gandhi gave his life for unity, there are people who gave their lives in Congress and there are people who gave their lives in BJP. There are people to take.” Let us tell you that voting for the 200-member Rajasthan Assembly will be held on November 25 and the counting of votes will take place on December 3.
